Waxed canvas pouch

This waxed canvas pouch was designed with durability and versatility in mind. Our objective was to create a bag that we could use for daily errands around the city or as a carry-on for travel essentials. The pouch has a simple exterior silhouette with multiple interior pockets to accommodate everything from your keys and passport to your notebook and iPad. 

Waxed canvas was originally used by Scottish sailors during the mid 19th century so their sails wouldn’t soak up water. Today it is used for rainwear, outerwear, and workwear due to its tough and water repellent nature: a legacy we wanted to bring into this project. Handcrafted in Canada, our pouch is constructed using 100% waxed cotton canvas featuring YKK AquaGuard zippers, leather pull tabs, nylon interior lining, and a metal key ring.
